Yesterday, I went to go see my mom for my brothers birthday lunch. When I was leaving I gave my mom a hug and she whispered into my ears in Japanese… “Gan-bare, zetai-yameruna”. In straight English translation it means… “persevere.. NEVER give up”.
This video I had to share because this is what it means to persevere… check it out, it’s pretty powerful…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. – Marianne Williamson”
Since 2004 since I started my journey in the real estate investment world. I’ve gotten beaten up and taken some hard punches. Especially when the market turned. Anyone who has been in the game has gotten beaten up as well and those who said they haven’t are BS’en in my opinion… Anyways… I’ll end with what Rocky said….
“It aint about how hard you HIT… it’s about how hard you can GET HIT and keep moving forward…”
Embrace the punches because that’s the conditioning you need to succeed.
